Highlights
The Tour des Muverans is spectacular and demanding trek. By not being as popular as its more well knowed cousins, it is in a relatively wild state and it is not common to encounter many hikers on the route. Several of its sections attract hikers and mountaineers due to their slopes and rock formations.
Type of hiking
- 5 days of guided hikes (Monday to Friday), on exclusively T3 trails.
- Hike at level 4* +, for enthusiastic hikers in good form. Up to 900 m up and down and between 6 and 8 hours of walking (excluding breaks) each day.
- Hikers must not suffer from vertigo and be sure-footed.
- The route is approximately 60 km, with an altitude gain (positive and negative) of 4.500 metres.
Early departure from Pont de Nant to be arraged.
Price and booking
Price per person: CHF 950 (min. 4, max. 6 participants), including: 5 days’ guided hikes; 4 nights’ accommodation in alpine huts (dormitories); half-board.
Price excludes: transport (except as mentioned), insurances, picnics/lunches, drinks.
Please allow about 60–100 francs for possible supplies (water, snacks, etc.). Water in the refuges is not drinkable.
