Early summer in Adelboden

High alpine meadows with abundant spring flowers, the spectacular Engstligen waterfalls, traditional mountain farms and cheese dairies, ridges and peaks offering long views of the Bernese Alps… Guided by David Erard.

An early-summer short week of varied hiking in the natural environment around Adelboden. We stay in a welcoming 3* hotel, with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and a wellness area for relaxation in the evenings. We’ll take advantage of the local mountain lifts and public transport to facilitate access to the higher panoramic trails.

Type of hiking

• 5 days of guided hikes (Sunday to Thursday), with discovery of the local flora and fauna, geology, history and culture.
• Hikes at level 2*/3*, for enthusiastic sure-footed walkers on good form; max. 1000 m up and down and 4‒6 hours’ walking per day (excluding breaks).
• Technical level: mostly T2 (Swiss Alpine Club grading), with rare short sections at T3.

Meet at the hotel in Adelboden on the evening of Saturday 22 June.

Price and booking
