FULLY BOOKED! A weekend of itinerant hiking on the spectacular panorama trails high above Lötschental. Highlights: larches in their autumn colours; magnificent views of the Lang Glacier up to the Lötschenlücke, the impressive rocky summit of the Bietschhorn and the historic valley villages; scenic Schwarzsee surrounded by larch forest; and the little wooden chapel of Our Lady of the Snow perched on the Faldumalp.

Hikes at level 3*/4*, for enthusiastic hikers on good form; 1000‒1200 m ↑, 750‒900 m ↓ and 5.5–7 hours walking each day. Technical level: T2 (Swiss Alpine Club grading). Need to carry rucksack with clothes, picnics and overnight kit for the 2 days.

Price and booking

CHF 295 per person (min. 6, max. 10 participants) including two days of guided hiking + overnight stay in twin rooms with half-board. Price excludes: transport, insurances, lunches, drinks.
